Teaching Yoga for Pregnant Women with Robyn Wexler

This training is intended for yoga teachers or dedicated practitioners with an interest in yoga and pregnancy.
About Robyn Wexler The Director and Co-Founder of Yoga Yard, Robyn began teaching in 1998 and has practiced Yoga since 1996. Robyn is also a trained doula (birth assistant) and has attended births since 2004. In 2003, Robyn initiated Yoga Yard’s pre-natal yoga program, and has had the pleasure to work with hundreds of pregnant women from countries throughout the world since this time. In 2007, Robyn was the blessed with the pregnancy and birth of her son Ethan, and is expecting another child this September. Robyn has benefited from many teachers with whom she has studied, namely Judith Hanson Lasater, Matthew Raymond Cohen, Sarah Powers, Max Strom and Donna Farhi. In addition to having had the privilege of assisting in workshops and teacher trainings for many of these teachers, Robyn has also taught the pre-natal portion of Max Strom’s 200-Hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training. A Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) herself, Robyn has lived in Beijing since 1999, and teaches in English and Chinese.
