Angela Low: Angela first started her yoga learning 10 years ago while at university in Australia, but it is only when she came to Beijing 8 years ago that she began to truly appreciate the balancing and restorative powers of yoga and the breath. Practicing with Robyn Wexler and Mimi Kuo-Deemer at Yogayard has helped her to cultivate stillness and compassion, power allies in dealing with the stress of working in this city. Angela is a teacher by trade- she is a freelance trainer and coach for Emotional Intelligence, Creative Thinking skills and Teambuilding, and teaching yoga seemed a natural next step in her passion to empower others with skills, methods and knowledge to find greater happiness and peace.
Angela has attended Teacher Training with Matthew Cohen and Max Strom, and continues to be inspired and enriched by the teachers at Yogayard.
Angela sees her classes as a safe space for her students to remove themselves from 'busyness' and find peace and strength within, through energetic sequences with a focus on breath and mindfulness, and a bit of fun. She aspires to combine her knowledge of emotional intelligence and somatic experience, and a sense of humour with her yoga teaching to give her students an enriching, healing practice, that they can continue off the mat.
